New Home Pound Ridge, New York 1998

This 6500 square foot home is on a small cul-de-sac road with a pond located behind the new residence. In keeping with other homes in the area, the exterior has the look of a traditional shingle style home, including a cedar wood roof.

Two magnificent stone chimneys grace the right side of the house. The rear mahogany veranda traverses the full length of the house with stairs leading to the yard on one side and a large screened in porch on the other. Spectacular views of the pond are visible from the veranda, the screened in porch, the Juliette balcony off the Master Bedroom and the walk out basement. Hand hewned oak beams along with a stone fireplace give the family room a very warm feel.Tumbled marble baths, wainscoted walls, and beautifully trimmed casework were all built and installed, on site, by Brenner Builders craftsmen.
