A developer who purchased land in Rye, New York turned to Brenner Builders to build these two homes, located within walking distance of Long Island Sound.

Though this 6500-square-foot Georgian brick home looks as if it had been on the property for many years, the house is actually brand new and benefits from modern design and many interior conveniences, including a screened porch off the breakfast room, radiant heat and a fireplace in the master bedroom, and something every active family looks for-a recreation room above the garage.
When visitors come into the home’s entryway, they step into an octagonal
foyer that reflects a 40-foot high octagonal cupola with intricate wood detailing
above. Bringing light into the center of the home on both the first and second
levels, the cupola also brings attention to a unique and beautiful main staircase
that can be ascended from both the front and rear of the home.
The exterior has antiqued brick walls and a Grand Manor tile roof.

Upon entering this shingle-style house, visitors can take in the architectural richness of the residence as they look straight through the home to a formal family room with 20-foot ceilings. The ceiling lines echo the gambrel roofline of the exterior with architecturally detailed exposed structural wood trusses that were specially built for the space by Brenner Builders. Paneled knee walls and custom-fabricated decorative columns flank the entrance to the family room. An arched upper-level window is the perfect complement to the room's detailing.
Oak floors and granite counter tops give the kitchen a warm and inviting feeling.
The master bedroom is conveniently separated from the other second floor
bedrooms by a walkway “bridge” that runs through the center of the
home. The master bath is located in a two-story turret. During the day the
room, which has radiant heat and paneled walls, is bathed in natural light
from the double-height windows.
From outside, the most prominent feature of the home is the turret, but visitors should be sure to also note the three different shingle patterns on the exterior.
