As the son of an architect, Phil was raised with a constant exposure to the elements of design and construction. Working on job sites as a teenager and young adult provided him with the basic skills he needed to start his own general contracting business 30 years ago. After ten successful years, he chose to narrow the focus of his services to excavation contracting—specializing in building roads and installing infrastructure throughout Westchester, Fairfield, Putnam and Dutchess Counties.
At the turn of the 21st century, Phil sold his company and became a construction management consultant assisting homeowners who wanted to be their own general contractors but needed some guidance from a knowledgeable source. When Brenner Builders was looking to expand its project management team, a highly respected architect made the introduction to Phil. “I was impressed by the professionalism at Brenner Builders, something that is sadly lacking in the field these days,” said Phil, “and I was happy to bring my skills to the team.” A well-known site supervisor with a stellar reputation, Phil lives in Katonah, NY with his high school sweetheart and three children.
